Terms of Service

Effective October 10, 2026

About these terms

These terms cover your use of commonwealthappliancerepair.com and any repair service you request from NA Global LLC DBA Commonwealth Appliance Repair("we", "us"). By requesting service or using the website you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

What we do

We repair household appliances — refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, microwaves, ice makers, wine coolers, garbage disposals and range hoods — across Northern Virginia, Washington, DC and nearby Maryland. We are a repair service only: we do not sell or install appliances, and gas-line and electrical alteration work is outside what we take on.

We are an independent service company. Brand names on this site belong to their owners, and we are not affiliated with or authorized by any manufacturer.

Requesting service

A request through our website, a call or a text is a request, not a booked appointment. We contact you to agree a time. Same-day and next-day visits depend on our schedule and are not guaranteed. Please give us accurate contact details and a correct service address. If you need to reschedule or cancel, call or text (571) 571-1664 as early as you can.

Diagnostic fee and pricing

  • Our diagnostic visit is $99. It covers the technician coming out and diagnosing the appliance.
  • Once we know what is wrong, we give you the repair price up front, before any work begins, and you decide. We do not start work you have not approved.
  • If you approve the repair, the $99 is waived. If you decide not to repair, the $99 is all you pay.
  • If a part has to be ordered, we tell you the expected timeline before you commit. We may ask for a deposit toward an ordered part; any deposit is credited to your invoice.
  • Prices and cost ranges in our articles and guides are general information, not a quote for your appliance.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is completed unless your invoice says otherwise. You can pay by card through the secure Square link on your invoice, or by Zelle, cash or check to your technician. Keep your invoice: it is your receipt and your warranty record.

Warranty

Parts and labor on every repair are covered by a 90-day warranty from the service date. The warranty covers the work and parts listed on your invoice and does not extend to unrelated components or damage caused by misuse.

The warranty applies to completed repairs. To use it, call or text (571) 571-1664 or email info@commonwealthappliancerepair.com with your invoice number, and we will arrange a visit to look at it.

Text message terms

Commonwealth Appliance Repair sends text messages about service requests and repairs. When you submit our request form, you agree that we may call or text you about your request. If you call and we miss it, we may text you back once. Messages can include replies to you, appointment and arrival updates, invoices and receipts, and a request to review us after the job.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to stop receiving texts. Reply START to receive them again.
  • Reply HELP, call (571) 571-1664 or email info@commonwealthappliancerepair.com for help.
  • Consent to texts is not a condition of buying any service.
  • Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • We do not share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

Using our website and guides

Our repair guides are general information to help you understand a problem. Appliances involve electricity, gas and water: switch off power (and gas) before checking anything, and stop and call a professional when a guide says so. Any repair you do yourself is at your own risk.

The reviews on this site are public Google reviews of our business, shown as they appear on Google.

Limits of our responsibility

We stand behind our work as described in the warranty above. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows: we are not responsible for problems with parts or components we did not work on, for conditions that existed before our visit, or for indirect losses such as spoiled food or time off work; and our total responsibility for a repair is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Virginia law that cannot be limited by agreement, or our responsibility for injury or damage caused by our own negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. If a disagreement comes up, please call or email us first — most things can be sorted out quickly. Any legal dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in effect when you request service applies to that job; the effective date at the top shows when they last changed.
